BRIAN STEVENS 
PRESIDENT / CEO
FOUNDER & PRINCIPAL

Brian brings over 25 years of executive experience, including roles in the insurance, staffing, and healthcare industries.  Over the last six years Brian has developed Affiliated Enterprise Solutions (AES) into a unique consulting firm specialized in working with Healthcare Associations.
 
Before founding AES, Brian served as Vice President at the Texas Hospital Association, where he focused on corporate business development, managing the association's corporate memberships, advertising, and sponsorships.  Previously, Brian was an executive at HealthSHARE, the shared services company owned by the Texas Hospital Association.  At HealthSHARE, he led the growth of the company to become one of the most successful state hospital associations shared services organization in the nation.  He also developed and spearheaded the association’s “Endorsed Business Partner” Program.

JAKE KERCHEVAL
Senior Consultant, Insurance Services

Prior to coming on board with AES, Jake’s background spanned from overseeing the collection and analyzation of hospital data to managing the shared services arm of a state hospital association.  Jake held director level positions at the Iowa Hospital Association as well as ServiShare, IHA’s shared services subsidiary.  He helped to grow non-dues revenue by bolstering the endorsed business partnership program, expanding the associate membership program and overseeing the Insurance Services at IHA.  Jake holds insurance licenses for Property and Casualty as well as Health Benefits.  Jake’s background gives him a unique vantage point for having worked both at the business partner company and the customer in varying healthcare and association transactions, which will be utilized in his oversight of business development and strategic partnerships.  Today, Jake oversees the AES Insurance consulting program which allows AES to share our licenses with those associations that need it.

SANDRA LODE, MBA, CPA, CGMA,
Senior Consultant, Grant Servies

Sandra brings over 25 years of healthcare executive experience to AES.  She is a Primary Health Care Specialist providing assistance to the Health Resource and Services Administration (HRSA), Bureau of Primary Health Care (BPHC), in support of community-based primary care organizations. Prior to joining AES, Sandra served as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for several healthcare institutions in the non-profit and public sectors, both urban and rural, specializing in resource identification, development and management.  She was also the President/CEO and partner in two different healthcare consulting firms in the Baton Rouge and New Orleans areas. In the past 10 years, Sandra has successfully secured over $20 million in one-time and recurring grant funding for her clients.

​ABIGAIL BOBO
Office Manager / Business Analyst

Abby began working in the healthcare industry over 20 years ago.  She held administrative and direct patient care clinical positions in hospital and outpatient healthcare settings in Massachusetts and New Hampshire.  Abby coordinated projects and managed accounting duties at a retail and commercial construction subcontractor in Boise, Idaho.
Before joining AES, Abby served in Accounting and Human Resources roles.  She was a Staff Accountant and then later became an HR Manager at a not for profit human services organization in Austin, Texas.  There she managed candidate background checks, new hire orientations, benefits administration, and Human Resources processes and procedures.  At AES, Abby is an integral part of the due-diligence process in evaluating potential partner companies.

SCOTT LEWIS
Business Analyst

Before onboarding with AES, Scott had a background in financial services including roles in the insurance, trading and financial planning industries. Scott’s unique business background make him a natural fit to achieve AES’s goal of staying committed to helping clients evolve and grow in the face of an increasingly competitive and complicated healthcare landscape.  After transitioning his focus into the healthcare industry,  Scott monitors current market conditions and trends to evaluate clients current business structure and make strategic recommendations to help diversify revenue and move away from dependence on member dues as well as to identify threats to long-term sustainability.
